Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern any website design and development services purchased from Kim Web Studio ("we", "us"), operated by Grace Kim. By purchasing a package or service, you ("client") agree to these Terms. Last updated: August 19, 2026.
Services
We provide custom website design and development services in three tiers (Starter, Advanced, Professional) as described on our pricing page, along with optional ongoing Care Plan maintenance subscriptions. Specific deliverables, page/section counts, and revision rounds are as listed for each package at the time of purchase.
Payment
Full payment is due at the time of purchase via our secure Stripe checkout. Prices are listed in USD. Work begins once payment is received and we have collected the necessary project details (photos, text, business information) from the client.
Revisions
Each package includes a set number of revision rounds as specified at checkout. Additional revisions beyond what's included may be billed separately at our standard hourly/flat rate, quoted before work begins.
Cancellations & Refunds
Because work often begins shortly after payment and purchases are custom services (not physical goods), refunds are handled as follows: (a) full refund if cancellation is requested before any design work has started; (b) no refund once design work has begun, though we will make reasonable efforts to resolve concerns about the work itself; (c) Care Plan subscriptions are billed monthly and can be cancelled anytime — cancellation stops future billing but does not refund the current billing period.
Project Timeline
Estimated delivery timelines are provided at checkout and depend on the client providing requested materials (photos, text, logos, etc.) in a timely manner. Delays in receiving materials from the client may extend the delivery timeline accordingly.
Ownership & Copyright
Upon full payment, the client owns the final website design and content created specifically for their project. Kim Web Studio retains the right to showcase completed projects in its own portfolio and marketing materials unless the client requests otherwise in writing. Any third-party assets (stock photos, fonts, plugins) remain subject to their original licenses.
Domain & Hosting
Unless otherwise specified in the client's package, domain registration is the client's responsibility. Hosting arrangements are as described in the client's purchased package or Care Plan.
Limitation of Liability
Kim Web Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the website or services provided. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
